Terry J. Dixon

Terry J. Dixon, 70, of Coal Valley, Illinois, died Friday, February 23, 2024, in Harmony of Davenport.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Graveside services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Rock Island National Cemetery, where Moline American Legion will present military honors.  Those wishing to attend should meet at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline at 10:15 a.m. to process to the cemetery.

Terry James Dixon was born March 31, 1953, in Dixon, Illinois.  He served in the US Army in Vietnam and married Denh Nguyen on November 4, 1972, in Rock Island.  He was employed at John Deere in production and was a forklift driver.

Terry is survived by his wife, Denh; two sons  and daughters-in-law, Jamie and Jennifer Dixon and Glen and Connie Dixon, all of Coal Valley; three grandchildren, Delaney, Alyssa, and Cameren Dixon; and siblings, Mary Gale and her husband Frank, Linda Hammond, Jacob Madison, and Timothy Dixon.  He was preceded by his parents and siblings, Joseph Dixon and Shirley Denning.
