Steven W. Bovee

Steven W. Bovee, 48, of Marshalltown, Iowa, died Saturday, May 28, 2022, at University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City.

Private services to celebrate Steve’s life will be held. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Steven William Bovee was born August 31, 1973, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Garry and Carol (Gleckler) Bovee. He graduated from Davenport North High School and married Nicole Vroman on July 25, 1998, in Moline. He worked at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown.

Steven enjoyed playing video games and reading comic books. He was also an avid Kansas City Chiefs’ fan, and also of the Iowa State Cyclones and Kansas Jayhawks.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Nicole; three children, Chantel Bovee of Canton, Ohio, and William and Trent Bovee, both of Marshalltown; his mother, Carol Bovee of Davenport; and siblings, John Farwell, Angelia Bovee, and Kristen (Dave) Abrahamson. He was preceded in death by his father, Garry Bovee.
