Sharon D. Harmon

Sharon D. Harmon, 78, of Muscatine, Iowa, passed Saturday, May 9, 2026 at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

The former Sharon Denise King was born on August 7, 1947, in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Lucien and Geraldine (Malchert) King. Following her graduation from high school, Sharon dedicated herself to caring for others through her work as a nurse.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed working on puzzle books. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and she delighted in watching Hallmark movies throughout the holiday season. She also cherished taking walks with her beloved dog, Cricket. Above all else, Sharon treasured the time she spent with her family and friends, who meant the world to her.

Sharon is survived by her children, Sandra (Jeffrey Carter) Voelker of Fruitland, Iowa, Steven (Jellene) Harmon of Muscatine, Iowa, Jeffrey (Julie Strause) Harmon of Muscatine, Iowa; grandchildren, Kayla, Samantha, Tanya, Steven, Joshua, Layden, and Nathaniel; great-grandchildren, Raylen and Ezra; brother, Kenneth King of Muscatine, Iowa; sister-in-law, Tammy King of Muscatine, Iowa; and her dog, Cricket. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucien and Geraldine King; sister, Patricia Tietje; and brother, Ronald King.
