Robert L. Cox, Jr.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Private burial will take place at Rock Island National Cemetery.

Robert Louis Cox Jr. was born September 3, 1948, in Moline, Illinois, the son of Robert Sr. and Audrey (Schoonover) Cox. He served in the United States Army and later worked for Colpart as a welder for over 13 years.

He enjoyed fishing, rocks, gardening, hunting, spending time with family, watching the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs.

Robert is survived by his son, Robert (Elishia) Cox Sr. of Davenport; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Corindy (Ernie) Jack of Silvis, Illinois, and Connie Neer of LeClaire, Iowa; and a brother, Charles (Janna) Cox of Davenport. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, LeeLynn Cox; and a brother, Michael Cox.
