Robert J. Kessey

Robert “Bob” J. Kessey, 74, of Davenport, Iowa, passed on Monday, November 2, 2026, at Harmony Utica Ridge.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Robert John Kessey was born on June 23, 1952, in Superior, Wisconsin, the son of Robert Owen and Geralding (Hill) Kessey. He was a jack of all trades and had many different jobs throughout the years.

He took great pride and joy in music, often DJing or having music playing for anyone who would listen. He also enjoyed being social and outgoing, riding his bike, and lending a helping hand to others.

Bob is survived by his son, Chad Kessey of Superior, Wisconin; siblings, Robin Dunckel of Las Vegas, Nevada and Richard Kessey of Superior, Wisconsin; and close friend, Janice Hoerner of Davenport, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Tammy Kessey.
