Richard D. Stewart

Richard D. Stewart, 71, of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Monday, June 19, 2017, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of the Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

He was born April 1, 1946, in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Verne and Susan (Sutton) Stewart.

Richard is survived by his ex-wife and continued companion, Sally Bowdre of Bettendorf; two brothers, David Stewart of Davenport, and Michael Stewart; three step children, Tom and Rhonda Bowdre of Davenport, Molly Kosgard of Bettendorf, and Darin and Tina Martin of Port Byron, Illinois; many step-grandchildren, including Kendra and Jose Tapia of Davenport; and many nieces and nephews, including Kathy Neverka of Melbourne, Florida.
