Randy D. McMeen

Randy D. McMeen, 73, of Milan, Illinois, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2026, at home.

Services to celebrate Randy's life will be announced in the near future. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Randy Dean McMeen was born February 21, 1953, in Avon, Illinois, the son of Bruce and Martha (Gillett) McMeen. He married the love of his life, Kathryn Johanson, on March 19, 1995, in Milan.

He was a self-employed mechanic who loved his work. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed fishing and camping, stock cars, and demos. Randy loved people and seemingly knew everyone in Milan. He will be truly missed by all that knew him.

Randy is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy; his children, Jeremy McMeen of Milan, Angie McMeen of Rock Island, Illinois, Amos Anderson of Viola, Illinois, Travis Anderson of New Boston, Illinois, Charlee Anderson of Arkansas, and Tonya Mueller of Myrtle, Beach, South Carolina; 16 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Josh McMeen; and siblings, Max McMeen, Gary McMeen, Linda Turner, and Cinda Matter.
