Patricia J. Brown

Patricia Jo Brown was born on January 26, 1954 in Erie, PA. She married the love of her life Charles "Bruce" Brown on June 17, 1981.

Patricia and Bruce raised five boys that are located throughout Illinois: Chris (Stacey) Brown of Marseilles; Charly (Kirsten) Brown of Moline; Patrick (Kelsea) Brown of Chicago: John Brown of Sparta; and Sam Brown of Rock Island.

She adored her grandchildren: Skyler, Chuck, Xzavier "Zee", Joey, Max, Karissa, and Katie Jo.

Patricia was a medical technologist for 35 years and was a wealth of knowledge in this field. She was actively involved in her community and her son's lives by being a scout leader, religious education teacher, and classroom parent. One of her greatest joys later in life was attending anything her grandchildren were involved in.

Pat was proud of her Italian heritage and it showed in her love of cooking delicious meals for her family and friends. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed sewing in her free time. Her love of animals was undeniable and it showed by her care for many pets throughout her life.

She passed away November 3, 2023, surrounded by the large family that loved her. She was preceded in death by her mother Josephine and father Charles Quick and one son, Michael.

A Catholic Mass in her remembrance will be held on November 14.
