Noveta C. Henry, 71, of East Moline, Illinois, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 8, 2019, in Iowa.
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.
The former Noveta Carol Hubbard was born September 4, 1947, in Harrisburg, Illinois, the daughter of George and Nellie (Hogg) Hubbard. She spent the last 25 years with the love of her life, Steve Caslin. She retired from John Deere, where she was a welder for many years. She flew airplanes in her free time and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Noveta is survived by her partner, Steve Caslin of East Moline; children, William (Janie Wood) Brink of Centerville, Iowa, Dora (Brad) Dugan of Port Charlotte, Florida, Tonya (David) McLemore of Rock Island, Barbara Crandall of Moline, Terry Henry of Milan, Sandra (Tim) Wood, and Debbie (Bob) Hogan of Eddington; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; Steve’s sons, Cory Caslin of Festus, Missouri, and Brian Caslin of Davenport; Steve’s 3 grandchildren; siblings, George (Sharon) Hubbard of Silvis, Darletia (Jack) Horton of East Moline, Marriettia (Larry) Nordholm of East Moline, and Melody (Don) Krack of Ottertail, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Carldeen Hubbard.
