Nathan S. Karns

Nathan S. Karns, 51, of Rock Island, Illinois, passed Sunday, June 28, 2026, at his residence.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Nathan Scott Karns was born on November 5, 1974, in Rushville, Indiana, the son of Gerald and Carolyn (Thoman) Karns. He graduated from Orion High School and went on to work in many industries.

He was a caring, fun-loving man and a Ford Mustang Enthusiast.

Nathan is survived by his father, Gary Karns of Ashland City, Tennessee; his siblings, James Karns of Freelandville, Indiana, John Karns of Sherrard, Illinois, and Amanda Karns of Franklin, Tennessee; four nieces; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Karns.
