She married William Milton Anderson on September 3, 1947, in Hannibal, Missouri, and together they raised their family. She was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church in Rock Island, Illinois, and later attended First Christian Church in Rock Island, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Hall; daughter, Ava Hall; son-in-law, Robert Hall; sister, Juanita Duncan; nephew, Dennis Duncan; and her first husband, William Anderson.
