Michael Stone

Michael Stone, 67, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away November 29, 2022 at home.

A service at the Rock Island Arsenal is pending. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

He was born in Germany and moved to the US at the age of 5 with his parents, Wendall and Christa Stone. Mike served in the US Naval Construction Battalion, better known as the Seabees. He lived a colorful yet low-key life. He was typically described with personality plus. Mike is and will always be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wendall and Christa Stone.

Mike is survived by his brothers, Ernest (Anne) of Red Wing, Minnesota, and Raymond (Cynthia Leaf) of North Liberty, Iowa; nephews, Andrew (Allison) of Cave Creek, Arizona, Eric of Red Wing, Minnesota, Paul and Nathan of North Liberty, Iowa.
