Michael L. Marselle, 75, of Kewanee, Illinois, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 7, 2025.
A gathering to celebrate Mike’s life will be announced at a later date. Cremation will be handled by Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of the Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.
Michael Lee Marselle was born on August 25, 1949, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Francis “Frank” and Doris (Jordan) Marselle. Known to many as Mike, he spent his career as a dedicated car salesman and recently retired.
Mike was an avid golfer who cherished time on the course. He especially enjoyed traveling to Florida to visit his lifelong friends, Jack and Barb Krause. He also deeply valued his friendship with David Jaeger, a friend of over 70 years.
Mike is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Nicole Marselle of Libertyville, Illinois, and his beloved grandchildren, Berkley, and Saige Marselle. He is also survived by his father, Frank Marselle of Princeton; his brothers, Todd Marselle of Princeton and Larry Marselle of DeKalb; and his nieces and nephews: Lexi and Stephanie of Kewanee, Gina of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Luke of Princeton, and Tom of Albert Lea, Minnesota.
Mike will be remembered for his warmth, wit, and the deep connections he maintained with family and friends.
