Michael D. Johnston

Michael D. Johnston, 48, of East Moline, Illinois, died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 14, 2019.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. A celebration of life will be held at Edgington Fire Department in Edgington, Illinois, on Saturday, July 20th, 2019, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Michael was born August 20, 1970, in Moline, the son of Richard and Janet (Young) Johnston.  He graduated from Rockridge High School in 1988.

He was previously employed at TM Logistics Hodge Company in Davenport, Iowa.  He loved music, cars, watching movies and his family.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Lacie Johnston of Colona, Illinois; his mother, Janet Six of Taylor Ridge, Illinois; a sister, Dawn Lindquist of Washington, Illinois; a brother, Mark Johnston of Muscatine, Iowa; and nephews and niece, Matthew Kearns, Devin Lindquist, and McKinsey Walters, and several aunts and uncles.  He was preceded in death by his father.
