Margaret E. Holt

Margaret E. Holt, 76, of Davenport, Iowa, died Sunday, October 13, 2019, in Good Samaritan Home, Davenport.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline.  Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

The former Margaret Edith Emery was born April 18, 1943, in Davenport, to James and Vivian (Lohf) Emery. She had worked in healthcare, and enjoyed reading, especially Stephen King novels.

Margaret is survived by six children and spouses, Jeffrey and Maria Furgerson of Davenport, Jennifer Zavala of Davenport, Connie and Steve Myers of Calamus, Vivian and Rodney Stewart of Muscatine, Edward and Julie Long of Davenport, and Sarah Allen of Davenport; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and siblings, James Brady and Sandra Mitchell.
