Lois A. Moore

Lois A. Moore, 79, of Moscow, Iowa, formerly of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Friday, November 11, 2023, in UnityPoint Health – Trinity Bettendorf.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.  Graveside services are 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 20, at Rock Island National Cemetery.  Those wishing to attend should meet at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, at 10:15 a.m. to process o the cemetery.

The former Lois Ann Washam was born October 28, 1944, in Davenport, to Henderson and Pearl (Haynes) Washam.  She married Keith Moore on April 20, 1963, in Bettendorf. He died February 6, 2017.  She was employed as a housekeeper for El Rancho Tel Motel in Bettendorf for 30 years. She enjoyed bingo, slot machines, and board and card games, and loved spending time with her family.

Lois is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Rick Castle of Moscow, and Tina and Steven Doughty of Atalissa, Iowa; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildrfen; a brother, Roy Washam of Davenport, and a sister-in-law, Janice Washam of Bettendorf.  She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Michael Moore.
