Kathy M. Voisine

Kathy M. Voisine, 57, of Davenport, Iowa, passed Friday, July 10, 2026, at Good Samaritan Society – Davenport. She passed peacefully in her sleep as a result of Parkinson's disease

A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 8, at Green Tree Brewery, LeClaire, Iowa. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.

Katherine Michele Voisine was born on April 26, 1969, in Columbus, Georgia, the daughter of Harold and Dorothy (Lokey) Lenz. She spent part of her childhood in Germany, where she attended Karlsruhe American High School before returning to Savannah, Illinois to graduate high school. She then graduated from the Professional Academy of Science and Beauty. Kathy went on to fulfill her dream of owning her own business, The Hair Locker in Davenport for more than twenty years.

She married the love of her life, Shane Voisine, on September 1, 1996, in Davenport. Their story began at an '80s hair metal concert, where Shane was performing with his band. Kathy had a deep love for music, and it remained a constant throughout her life. She never missed an opportunity to go shopping with her daughter, Greta, and treasured the time they spent together.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Shane Voisine; daughter, Greta Voisine; parents, Harold and Dorothy Lenz; brother-in-law, Shawn (Karri) Voisine, long-time friends, Lucinda Sanders and Sandra Keelin, and her dog, Stormi. She was preceded by her mother-in-law, Donna Faye Voisine.
