Kathy Jo Taylor, 71, of Bettendorf, Iowa, died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 3, 2020.

Private burial is in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

The former Kathy Jo McNamara was born August 29, 1949, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Richard and Alliene (Stout) McNamara. She married Freddie Taylor January 20, 1987, in Rock Island. She was an :LPN from 1982-2013.

She is survived by her husband, Freddie Taylor; her brother, Pat (Janet) McNamara; sisters, Corailee Kindelsperger and Karla Felske; children, Lisa J. Lema, Necole (Nikki) (Daylen) Daniels, and Jason A. (Emily) Benge; grandchildren, Desirae (Chad Hoffer) Benge, Isaiah Negus, Dillon Daniels, Megan Daniels, Logan Hildebrant, Allyson Lema, Charlie Benge, and Luke Benge; and a great-grandson, Owen Hoffer. She was preceded in death by sisters, Sandy Taylor and Michelle Bennett; a brother, Michael McNamara; and a granddaughter, Margaret Eileen Benge.
