Karen L. Elliott

Karen L. Elliott, 86, of Le Claire, Iowa, died Monday, May 11, 2026, at Addington Place of Clinton, Clinton, Iowa.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Private burial is in Glendale Cemetery, Le Claire.

Karen Louise Domer was born July 16, 1939, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of William “Slip” and Veva (Benson) Domer. She graduated from Monmouth Collge and went on to be a gradeschool teacher for many years.

She married Robert Elliott and the couple had two sons, Kent and Christopher, before separating. Karen had a lifelong passion for Christian missionary work, which began in her younger years and took her to several places, including Korea.

Karen is survived by her two sons, Kent Elliott of Le Claire, and Christopher (Holly) Elliott of Downers Grove, Illinois; and three grandchildren, Tully Neilson-Elliott, and Matthew and William Elliott. She was preceded in death by her parents and her many cats over the years.
