Joyce A. Grubbs, 61, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Good Samaritan Society, Davenport.

Private services will be held in Indiana. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to the family.

Joyce Ann Walton was born August 2, 1965, in Richmond, Indiana, the daughter of Otis and Josephine (Greene) Walton. She devoted much of her career to caring for others as a certified nursing assistant in home health care. For 35 years, she was with the love of her life, Hewey “Duane” Coffey, who preceded her in death on April 28, 2025.

Joyce enjoyed playing cards and dice and, most of all, spending time with her friends and family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest joy and a constant source of pride.

Joyce is survived by five children, Leslie (Clarence) Shell of Davenport, Christopher (Brooke) Gaston, Terry (Brandi) Grubbs, Gary Coffey, and Melissa (Noah White) Coffey; 23 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Paul (Pam) Walton and Tonya (Kenny) Chance. She was preceded in death by her parents; her partner, Duane Coffey; and three children, Jennifer Coffey, Jacob Clark, and Heather Clark.
