Jonathan M. Hoppe

Jonathan M. Hoppe, 59, of Muscatine, Iowa, died Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Good Samaritan Society – Davenport.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Jonathan Manfred Hoppe was born on July 7, 1966, in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Siegfried and Heidi Martha (Boche) Hoppe, Sr. After graduating high school, Jonathan dedicated his time working as a car salesman in Davenport.

He enjoyed collecting coins, precious metals, and doing some internet trading. He found comfort and companionship in cats. One of his proudest accomplishments was achieving 15 years of sobriety, and he deeply valued the friendships, encouragement, and support he found through AA.

Jonathan is survived by his siblings, Christiane (Alan) Hausted of Lincoln, Nebraska; Siegfried (Risa) Hoppe, Jr. of Muscatine, Iowa; Immanuel “Manny” Hoppe of Muscatine, Iowa; and Birgit Hausted of Muscatine, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents.
