Jamee L. MacDonald, 62, of Davenport, Iowa, passed Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Bettendorf.
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.
The former, Jamee Lee Turner was born on March 22, 1964, in Riverside, California, the daughter of James and Marilyn (Morris) Turner. She married Erik MacDonald on November 11, 2011, in Davenport, Iowa.
Jamee was a warm, funny, witty, and intelligent woman whose bright spirit could light up any room. Having worked in the restaurant industry for many years, she had a remarkable gift for making people feel instantly comfortable and cared for. She often referred to herself as “The Queen of the Four-Minute Conversation,” able to connect with anyone, anywhere, at any time.
She spent her entire life loving every animal she touched or held. She was very accomplished with horses, dogs, cats, and birds. She never saw an animal she didn't love. Growing up, two of her favorite books were All Creatures Great and Small by James Herriot and Misty of Chincoteague by Marguerite Henry. She remained an avid reader throughout her life and always enjoyed getting lost in a good book.
Jamee is survived by her husband of 14 years, Erik MacDonald of Davenport, Iowa; and siblings, Greg Turner of Oakhurst, California, Sheree Strong of Reno, Nevada, and Chris Turner of North Miami, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Marilyn Turner.
