Harold R. Martin

Harold R. Martin, 89, of East Moline, Illinois, died Tuesday, November 21, 2023, in Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Graveside services and burial will be 2 :30 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Rock Island National Cemetery. Vietnam Veterans of American Chapter 299 will present military honors.  Those wishing to attend should meet at Trimble Funeral Home at 2:15 p.m. to precess to the cemetery.

Harold Roy Martin was born December1 9, 1933, in Ottumwa, Iowa, to Hugh Clifford and Elizabeth (Bryan) Martin.  He served in the US Army form 1956 to 1958. He married Trudy Nylin on July 7, 1982.  She died October 2, 1997. He was employed in maintenance at the Moline Holiday Inn.

Harold is survived by his children, David Martin and Elizabeth.
