Grace M. Perkins

Grace M. Perkins, 92, of Muscatine, Iowa, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2026, at home.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Burial is in Westwood Cemetery, Latham, Ohio.

Grace Martha Rose Evans was born May 17, 1934, in Centerburg, Ohio, the daughter of Frederick and Florence (Smith) Evans. She married the love of her life, William Amos Perkins, and the couple had six children together. He died March 12, 1998.

She enjoyed fishing, puzzles, and gardening. Nothing brought Grace more joy than spending time with her family.

Grace is survived by two daughters, Dolores “Sue” (Jim) Moore of Logan, Ohio, and Brenda (Rick) Brown of Newark, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Esther Bishop and Mary Remkus. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill; a daughter, Mary Ellen Perkins; three sons, Donald Perkins, Mark Perkins, and Thomas Perkins, Sr.; and four siblings.
