Diana G. Hippler

Diana G. Hippler, 68, of Rock Island, Illinois, passed away Monday, August 31, at home.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Diana was born January 30, 1958, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Fred and Patricia (Brooks) Hippler. She shared more than 38 years with the love of her life, Jack Thrap.

Diana was a dedicated LPN at Riverview Manor, where she cared for others for more than 40 years.

An active and outdoors-loving woman, Diana especially enjoyed spending time on the river. She loved boating, paddleboarding, and kayaking, as well as biking and hiking. She also found joy working in her yard and caring for her many beloved cats throughout the years.

Diana is survived by her significant other, Jack Thrap; her siblings, Wayne (Sandy) Hippler of Bettendorf, Jim Hippler of DeWitt, Iowa, and Annie (Denny) Blanchard of Bettendorf; several nieces and nephews; Jack’s daughter, Katina Lynn Stiles; Jack’s grandchildren, Mason (Stacey) Hogren and Tyler Stiles; and Jack’s great-grandchildren, Macey and Maleah.
