Debra A. Fry, 66, of Port Byron, Illinois, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

A gathering to celebrate Deb’s life will be Saturday, April 4, (Time to be announced in the near future) at East Moline VFW Post 8890, 1810 1st Street, East Moline, Illinois. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to the family.

The former Debra Ann Killian was born May 30, 1959, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Clayton Harold and Theresa Francis (Parmentier) Killian. She married Hal Gregory and from the marriage came two daughters. Even though the couple later separated, they remained close friends.

Famous for her outgoing personality, many will remember Deb from her time bartending at the Avenue Tap and working at the Davenport Walmart for over 15 years. She was an avid football fan, particularly of the Chicago Bears. Above all else, family was the most important thing to Deb, and she will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Deb is survived by her two loving daughters, Amy (Joe Gordon) Fry of LeClaire, Iowa, and Angela Fry of Moline; her pride and joy, grandchildren Scarlet, Morrison, Connor, and DJ; her siblings, Dennis, Sondra and Michael Killian; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Ronald Killian.
