Cheryl R. Dobrinske, 70, of East Moline, Illinois, died Friday, June 7, 2024, at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis, Illinois, with her loving daughter, Tammy, by her side.
Graveside services are Noon Friday, June 21, at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to any local animal shelter or rescue.
Cheryl Rae Dobrinske was born August 30, 1953, in Geneseo, Illinois, the daughter of Clarence and Margie (Dennison) Dobrinske. She was very proud of her career working for the Federal Government at the Rock Island Arsenal, especially with her role during Operation Dessert Storm, serving in Afghanistan, Iraq and Germany.
She took very good care of her family and pets over the years, donating a lot of her time to local shelters and rescue events over the years.
Cheryl is survived by her beloved daughter, Tammy (Pete Demilio) Thomas of Fennville, Michigan; her brother, Delmar (Deann D.) Dobrinske of Mineral, Illinois; and her niece, Bonnie McCoy. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jason Allen Thomas; and her brother, Dennis Dobrinske.
