Camessa L. Beason, 59, of Moline, Illinois, passed Friday, May 29, 2026, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island, with her family by her side.
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Camessa Larlet Beason was born on April 30, 1967, in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Tinnie Mae (Hearn) Beason. She graduated from Rock Island High School and later worked in home health care. However, her favorite role came later in life as a full-time grandma, a title she cherished above all others.
She enjoyed playing darts and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved her early mornings, beginning each day with music and a cup of coffee at 4:00 a.m. Known as the down-to-earth, cool aunt, she was someone family and friends could always turn to for support, advice, or a laugh. Her warm spirit, sense of humor, and deep love for her family made a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Camessa is survived by her children, LaTorria Beason, Chundney Beason, and Edward (Brianna) Beason all of Rock Island, Illinois; grandchildren, Hezekiya Beason, Josiah Beason, Leilani Beason, and Selah Beason, who is expected later this year; siblings, David (Kim) Hearn, Robert (Linda) Beason Jr., Chucky Beason, Debra Beason, Rodney (Latrinda) Beason, and Tina Beason; and a host of beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Tinnie; and siblings, Linda Beason, Cynthia Beason, Michael Beason, Gloria Irving, Gwen Beason, Darlene Beason, and Cheryl Beason.
