Michael Williams

Michael Williams, 62, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Thursday, May 13, 2021, in UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 29, at Friend Circle Club, 701 18th Ave, Moline, IL 61265. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Michael Zane Williams was born November 17, 1958, in Rock Island, to Donald Zane and Bertha Louise (Murphy) Williams. He was general supervisor at R and O Specialties, and previously was a manager at Seig Company.

Mike was an avid sports fan and especially loved his Chicago Cubs. Mike also enjoyed listening to music, dancing and playing pool where he met a lot of his extended family at Murphys and The Polish Pub.

Survivors include four children, Zachary Williams of Moline, Anthony Williams of Rock Island, Marc Williams of Moline, and Rabekah Williams of Des Moines, Iowa. His Grandchildren were Lorna Ballester (Jonathan) of Colorado Springs, Alex Williams of Rock Island, Aaron Williams of Rock Island, Jaida Winklespecht of Des Moines, Marc Williams Jr. and Maverick Williams both of Rock Island; and one Great Grandchild Aubrey Ballester of Colorado Springs.
