The former Laura Lee Still was born November 12, 1960, in Chula Vista, California, the daughter of George and Dorothy (Durbin) Still. She was married to her husband and soulmate, Durwood Fogle, Jr for 41 years. She was a homemaker until her children were grown and she went on to work as a courier for Airborne Express.
She loved animals, especially her cat family. She enjoyed her garden, horses, antiquing, and watching golf, Major League Fishing and classic movies on television. Above all else, family was the most important thing to Laura. She was the heart and soul of the family, and her laughter could fill the room.
Laura is survived by her beloved husband, Durwood; a daughter and son-in-law, Sarah (John) Wiege of Rock Island; a son, Jason Fogle of Rock Island; siblings, Ken Still, Mike Still, and Tonya Still; her cats, Cooter, Jack and Sloan; and her grand-cats, Marty and Chloe. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to give special thanks to UnityPoint Oncology and Hospice for the wonderful care given to Laura.
