Karen K. Kelley, 65, of Muscatine, Iowa, passed away Monday, June 22, 2020, at home.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

The former Karen Kay Ash was born January 23, 1955, in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Orville and Elsie “Irene” (Kendall) Ash.

She owned Kelley’s Bar in Grandview, Iowa for five years before going to work at Marengo Memorial Hospital and Quad Graphics. She enjoyed spending time with family, her dog Daniel Boone, her cat Rory, and fishing.

Karen is survived by her daughter, Heather (Victor) Arenivas of Muscatine; grandchildren, Isaac Kelley, Cecilia Lopez, and LuisAngel Sandoval; and siblings, Donnie Ash, Charlie (Phyllis) Ash, Melvin Ash, Richard (Chris) Ash, Dean (Nancy) Ash, Robert (Karen) Ash, and Peggy Yerington, all of Muscatine. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Marvin Croson and David Ash; and a sister, Helen Thompson.
