Drew R. Jackson

Drew R. Jackson, 28, of Davenport, Iowa, died Saturday, March 5, 2022, at University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City, with his parents by his side.

A gathering to celebrate Drew’s life will be 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10, at the Buffalo Community Center, Buffalo, Iowa. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to the family.

Drew Robert Jackson was born September 24, 1993, the son of Robert and Beckie (Speer) Jackson. He graduated from Davenport West High School.

He had a passion for anything related to Pokémon. He enjoyed watching national and local wrestling, playing video games, and whales (especially orcas). Above all else, family was the most important thing to Drew.

Drew is survived by his parents, Robert and Janice Jackson of Davenport, and Beckie and James Combs of Davenport; his brother, Preston Jackson; a step-sister, Brittney Combs; grandparents, Dick and Jane Jackson of Blue Grass, Iowa, William Speer and Deb Stroud of Princeton, Iowa, Nancy Speer of Clearwater, Florida, and Carl and Carolyn Barry of Davenport; many aunts and uncles, including Debbie Marks of Clearwater, Brian and Cindy Jackson of Montpelier, Iowa, and Val and Shawn Masias of Orion, Illinois; and many cousins and friends.
