Dolores R. Keenan

Dolores R. (Dorrie) Keenan, 87, passed peacefully on Friday, September 2, 2022, at The Ivy, in Davenport, Iowa.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Private services are planned for a later date. Memorials may be made to local ASPCA.

Dorrie was born February 13, 1935, to Leslie and LaVina Larson in Leland, Illinois

Dorrie married Dale Keenan in 1951 until his death in 1960. Dorrie married Harold Keenan in 1966 until his death in 1996. Dorrie lived in the Leland area until her move to the Quad Cities in 2004.

Dorrie loved family, traveling, dining with friends, singing in the church choir, attending church, long walks, flowers, birds, and watching the squirrels.

Dorrie is survived by her son, Ron (Mary) Keenan of Davenport, stepson, Jerry (Donna) Keenan of Marietta, Georgia; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as her special friends, Jackie Shiff and Shirley Brue.

Those waiting with open arms for her arrival are her parents, Leslie and Lavina Larson; brothers, Milbert (Bud) Larson and Norman Larson; sister, Juanita (Dickie) Charlier; husbands, Dale Keenan and Harold Keenan; stepsons, Terry and Kent Keenan; cousins and friends.
