Debbie D. Fite, 64, of Davenport, Iowa, died Saturday, October 21, 2017, at home with her loving husband of 43 years by her side.

Private graveside services will be held at Rock island National Cemetery. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities, Moline.

Debbie was born on October 4. 1953, in Ottumwa, Iowa, to Larry & Donna (Meeker) Moore. She married Gary D. Fite, Sr. on January 18, 1974, in Davenport. Prior to her extended illness, Debbie thoroughly enjoyed working at APAC in Mt. Joy, Iowa, for 19 years as a team lead and quality assurance specialist. She was very proud of her many years of service and dedication to their organization.

Debbie was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening. Her greatest joy in life was her family. Being a wife, mother and grandmother were her proudest achievements. She found limitless joy in spending time with her grandchildren, whom she proudly loved and spoiled endlessly. Her family brought her infinite happiness throughout her life.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Gary Sr.; Children and spouses, Gary Jr. and Darlis Fite of Bettendorf, Iowa, Jamie Fite of Davenport, and Lenny Fite of North Carolina; three grandchildren, Grace and Eli Fite and Matthew Ellis; sisters Anita Fite, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and LuAnn Skinner, Ottumwa; sister in-law Juna (Jack) Ferrell, Blue Grass, Iowa, and brothers-in-law, Robert (Jerry) fite, Andalusia, Illinois, and Randy Fite, Florida; and good friend, Margaret from APAC. She was proceeded in death by her mother and grandson, Ethan Fite.
